Dexter

Getting a dog can be one of the most impactful moments in a person’s life. Often people do not know where to start the process, and shelters face problems with finding dogs a safe and reliable home. Dexter is a platform connecting local shelters to a large community of prospective dog owners. Dexter encourages potential adopters to browse dog listings from local shelters so that individuals and dogs can easily find their perfect match.

Adobe Creative Jam

Dexter is a product of the spring Adobe Creative Jam which is a weekend long hackathon style design competition. This years prompt was to create a community around pets.

Over twenty schools across the country competed. I am proud to say that my team, the Dexter Dawgs, was selected to be a finalist in the competition.
